Life is friction.

Reminders of beauty; impressions of pain. Selfless love; relationships frayed.

Art; expectations.

Jimmy Warner is an American indie singer-songwriter from Baltimore, Md. He has been writing music for over a decade, pursuing music as a means to invite listeners to creatively explore life. He has performed at large national venues like Ram’s Head Live in Baltimore, Md., toured in many major cities along the East Coast, and performed internationally. His highly-anticipated new full-length album is set to release sometime in Spring 2020.

Warner debuted a solo career with the release of his single “Bright Like June” in 2017, soon after followed by the release of his first EP “Drifting”. In 2018, Warner released “Fantine”, a song that enters into the challenging topic of human trafficking and seeks to create a conversation that joins together deep anger and inspiring hope. Following the release of “Fantine”, Warner left home for a self-promoted house-show tour in the hopes of reaching new fans and promoting the single. Among other cities, stops included Arlington, Va., Greenville, Nc., and Baltimore, Md.

At live shows, Warner seeks to create an intimate atmosphere and his songs are designed to engage fans with minimal instrumentation. Marrying deep lyrics with undeniably infectious melodies, Warner’s music delves further into the paradoxical tensions of reality while providing listeners the freedom to explore.
